A new fan-made website is challenging players to take justice into their own hands, targeting the game’s most notorious troublemakers — including some big-name streamers. The rise of player-made bounties
Arc Raiders has always been a mix of camaraderie and chaos. While many enjoy its cooperative, solo-friendly extraction shooter experience, others have encountered the darker side of online play: backstabbers, loot thieves, and ambushers who ruin a hard-earned run. For every helpful ally, there’s another player waiting to snipe you at extraction or steal your rewards at the worst possible moment. It’s part of the thrill — but anyone who’s been betrayed mid-mission knows how frustrating it feels.
That frustration is exactly what inspired Speranza Bounties, a third-party fansite designed to give players a form of payback — or at least some playful revenge. On this site, users can post “bounties” on other Arc Raiders players accused of shady tactics. Each bounty includes a list of alleged in-game ‘crimes,’ such as:
- "Sounded chill, led to ambush"
- "Grabbed loot and ran"
- "Shot at extract after teamwork"
- "Hides near extract, attacks on arrival"
- "Pretended AFK, wiped the squad"
- "Snipes players heading to extract"
Each submission turns that player into a target, and others can hunt them down for bragging rights.
Streamers in the crosshairs
Unsurprisingly, the most sought-after bounties aren’t random players — they’re popular streamers. The top target right now? TheBurntPeanut, a well-known VTuber and leader of the in-game “Bungulator” faction, reportedly listed by fellow creator HutchMF, who’s currently engaged in a full-on in-game feud with him. Other notable names like Nadeshot, Cloakzy, and Symfuhny have also made appearances on the list. It seems no one — not even the most charismatic influencer — is safe from public retribution.
How players claim rewards
To claim a bounty, players must upload proof, usually a screenshot of the takedown. Each confirmed kill unlocks exclusive titles on the site, and the team behind Speranza Bounties has teased even more ambitious future rewards — rare guns, blueprints, and prizes for those who collect the week’s top ten most valuable bounties.
It’s still early days for the platform. Each bounty lasts for 30 days, and most currently have more than two weeks to go. There’s still plenty to learn about how it might shape the game’s culture — or whether it’ll become little more than a novelty for hardcore fans. The biggest question? Whether bounty hunting is actually practical. After all, you need to randomly encounter your target, recognize them, and take them out — no easy feat in a massive online world.

For now, experienced players recommend a simple tactic: capture proof of every kill you make, then check the Speranza site afterward to see if any names match active bounties. It’s far more efficient than trying to track specific individuals during live gameplay.
