EMY Africa's 10th Anniversary: A Celebration of Africa's Excellence
EMY Africa marked its tenth anniversary with a grand celebration on Saturday night, showcasing the continent's finest achievements. The event, held at the Grand Arena, was a testament to the organization's growth and impact over the past decade.
The ceremony honored a diverse range of individuals, from statesmen and cultural guardians to emerging talents and unsung heroes. The atmosphere was electric, with a blend of ceremony and camaraderie, as the audience recognized the honourees' contributions to Africa's story.
The evening's performances were a highlight, featuring soulful vocals and powerful tributes. Joe Mettle's devotional presence set the tone, followed by Efya's elegant display. Ofori Amponsah's nostalgic melodies and Adina's tribute to Daddy Lumba and lost leaders moved the crowd. Samini's energetic performance brought the show to a powerful close.
