Peaknx unveils replacement adapters for JUNG Smart Control panels, enabling sustainable modernization of KNX systems without any structural work. Peaknx, a Darmstadt-based innovator in future‑proof home and building automation, has developed adapters that upgrade older JUNG touch panels. The JUNG Smart Control 7 and Smart Control 10 can be upgraded to Peaknx Control 12 or Control 16 while preserving the original flush-mounted enclosure and avoiding any refurbishment activities.
Seamless modernization for existing installations
The adapters are tailored for the JUNG Smart Control 7 and Smart Control 10. Replacing a Smart Control 7 with a Peaknx Control 12 or Control 16 leaves the SC 7 EBG flush-mounted box intact. The adapter is mounted onto this box, after which the new panel is installed. There is no need for chiselling, plastering, or structural adjustments.
The same process applies to replacing a JUNG Smart Control 10: the existing SC 10 EBG flush-mounted box can host a Control 16.
Enhanced convenience and flexibility with Peaknx touch panels
The replacement kits unlock advanced KNX technology and sleek, compact control devices with a premium finish. The 11.6-inch Control 12 and the 15.6-inch Control 16 run the full Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC operating system. In addition to built‑in YOUVI visualization software, these panels support other Windows‑based and browser‑based visualizations, including the JUNG Smart Visu Server, which simplifies KNX visualization creation and enables convenient operation via browser or app.
Fanless convection cooling ensures silent, low‑maintenance operation. The panels offer centralized control of lighting, shading, heating, and a range of other building functions. Their slim profiles allow them to blend into a wide variety of interior styles.
